Does MS4L sell any Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Mini Splits?

No, unfortunately all of the mini split systems sold on our website are required to be installed by a licensed HVAC technician, otherwise the manufacturer's warranty is voided.

How do I know what size BTU system I will need?

It is strongly suggested that you have a licensed HVAC technician physically inspect the area and offer a sizing recommendation. MS4L and its representatives will never recommend BTU sizing as we are not able to physically inspect your location, thus we cannot give you an accurate estimate.

Why can’t I simply calculate BTUs by my square footage?

There are a number of factors aside from square footage that determine how many BTUs are needed to cool/heat an area. A few examples would be window size, insulation, ceiling height, appliances, pets, and room occupancy.

Do we connect customers to installation services?

Unfortunately MiniSplits4Less does not offer any installation services. We suggest researching online for local licensed HVAC installers - be sure to read the reviews and compare different services!

Where can I find more technical information about these listings?

MiniSplits4Less exclusively distributes Cooper & Hunter and OLMO products, you can always find the most technical information on the manufacturer's website:

Can I combine different types of units on the same system?

Absolutely, however within the technical limitations. It is always best to contact either us or the Cooper & Hunter Tech Support team to confirm and customize your mini split system before purchasing!

SHIPPING FAQS

Can I change my shipping address after my order is placed?

Please contact us ASAP if you have any issues with the shipping address. Shipping addresses cannot be changed after payment has been made. If you need to change your shipping address before the order leaves our warehouse, you will have to cancel your order and place a new order with the correct intended shipping address at checkout.

Can I pick up my order from your warehouse?

Pickup is available from those wanting to get their order directly from our warehouse in South Florida. Please let us know beforehand so that we can make arrangements with our warehouse team.

Can I arrange to pick up my order from a carrier's terminal?

It depends on your location and how far away your package is from the original shipping address that was entered at checkout. You must call us prior so that we can possibly authorize these changes with the carrier, however you must receive prior approval from us.

Why is it required to attach a phone number attached to all orders?

Majority of orders placed on our website will be shipped palletized via a freight carrier. These carriers will not deliver your order without first setting up a delivery appointment with you - this is because someone must be there to inspect the boxes prior to signing and accepting the delivery.

Will the carrier bring the system right to my doorstep?

Please note that the only options for delivery are either Curbside (for residential buildings) or Loading Dock (for commercial buildings).

Is it possible to pay for expedited shipping?

We cannot expedite your order, however we will always prepare your order with importance!

ORDER AND RETURN FAQS

What exactly happens after ordering?

You order will be carefully and securely prepared by our warehouse team within 1 to 2 business days of your order being placed. After your order has been fulfilled and sent out from our warehouse, we will send you an email with your tracking information. The carrier will call you 24-48 hours to arrange a delivery appointment at a time that's convenient for you, please note they will not deliver if they cannot contact you!

What are my payment options?

We offer a few ways for you to pay for your order. If you need to pay with multiple cards, would rather use PayPal, or have any payment questions please contact us!

Can I edit my order after it is placed?

This will highly depend on if your order has been fulfilled and sent out. Please contact us as soon as you notice you may have to make a change!

What is the return/refund policy?

Does MiniSplits4Less offer bulk pricing discounts?

Yes! If you are interested in purchasing 5 or more systems please contact us for discounted pricing! (meaning 5 condensers, not 5 zones)

Can I still purchase a system if I plan on installing it myself?

Yes, however the manufacturer's warranty will be voided and you will be fully responsible for any parts or replacements.
